Note
Tenga en cuenta que los tamaños de tubería de 1/2" a 12" se conocen por su diámetro interior nominal, que difiere de su diámetro interior real. Para distinguir los tamaños de tubería de los diámetros reales medidos como se usan para los tubos, generalmente se usan los términos tamaño de tubería de hierro (IPS en inglés) o tamaño nominal de tubería (NPS en inglés).
